what just happened? a man was playing a mournful and mid-tempo song on a five string bass and suddenly, down there in the park street station, i noticed an old woman wearing a do-rag, a middle aged woman with luggage, and a weathered and bearded hobo sitting on a bench next to each other and i wondered if any of them knew each other, and on the platform around me everybody started moving in slow motion and then in fast motion, back and forth, and the bass player was normal speed the whole time, but anyone who walked in front of him was also moving at normal speed. then the trains arrived and that seemed like the logical place to end the video
