the other day i was in a convenience store that was selling this thing they called a “bronco twinkie” or a “rodeo twinkie,” i’m not sure which, but in any event, the difference between this and a standard twinkie is apparently that instead of vanilla filling, a “bronco twinkie” has banana crème. ah, this certainly calls to mind images of the great outdoors, mesas looming against the big western sky – cattle drives, the smell of mesquite, and rugged men in ten-gallon hats.

yessir, nothing quite says “texas” like banana crème.
