yesterday morning, an infant suffocated in a car after being forgotten there by her mother for three hours. the body was discovered by the baby's father, a new orleans police officer just coming home from having collared a child killer. and all i could think about after i read this was that we live in a world where something like this happens. who gives a shit about a goddam baseball strike? |
